Last week I learned that my book 35 Miles From Shore was selected for promotion by eBook discounter BookBub. If you’re not familiar with BookBub, you should check them out. BookBub has millions of subscribers world wide. Every day they send out emails to their subscribers featuring discounted eBooks. I’m reading a BookBub eBook myself right now called Fire Lover. I got the eBook for $1.99. Every day I learn about great books I might not have heard of otherwise. All of them are less than $3.00. Bookbub is free to subscribers. Check them out at BookBub.com.
Now back to 35 Miles From Shore. My distributor told me that BookBub selected the book but only for their international side. They couldn’t fit the book into the US just yet. So, I told them to go ahead with the international only promotion. The regular eBook price for 35 Miles From Shore is $2.99. I discounted the book to $.99 cents.
The goal is to introduce the book to as many new readers as possible. Each new reader is a potential new customer for my book Scapegoat. Here are the results of the promotion as of today.
Canada – #18 (That’s not just aviation. That is no 18 in all of Canada.)
Australia – #365 (all of Australia)
Europe – 19,305 (Not as good as Canada and Australia, but not bad for a book that had almost no sales in Europe before the promotion.)
The rankings above are just for Amazon. The eBook is also on sale on other platforms, including Kobo and iBooks. I can now say that I am an International best selling author. You can check out the latest rankings below.
