Everyone who writes a book entertains the possibility that their story would make a great film. I certainly felt that way about my book. So I spent a little over six months adapting my book into a screenplay. I sent it off to an agent and they agreed to represent it. But first they had some suggestions to make it more marketable. So I made the changes they suggested and waited for the offers to come rolling in. They never did. Turns out that the studios that did read the script estimated that this would be a 100 million dollar project.
After a year with this agent I decided to end my contract with them. I haven’t done anything with the script since then. But I did upload my original script to Amazon Studios. Now I doubt that Amazon is going to come up with 100 million to make this movie, but if you ever wondered how this story would play out on film, here’s your chance.
