It’s been quiet here at EmilioCorsetti.com. I’ve been pitching three different screenplays, and I’ve been on the lookout for stories for my next book. One idea I am pursuing right now involves the fight over the age 60 rule for pilots, which was overturned in 2007. Now that I just turned 62 and I’m still flying, I thought that this might be a good subject for a book. My only concern is whether or not it can appeal to a large enough market. My thought is to focus on a few specific pilots who fought the rule. They didn’t win the argument at the time, but all of us over age 60 and flying today owe these pilots a degree of gratitude for their efforts.
Feel free to let me know your thoughts and comments. In the mean time, I decided to put together a photo gallery and one cool time-lapse movie that was shot while making an approach into Vail Colorado.
