It was 48 years ago today that 23 people lost their lives in the ALM 980 ditching in the Caribbean Sea. My book 35 Miles From Shore continues to do well. I’m currently pitching a screenplay and a documentary. The deadline for the Audiobook Listeners Awards is May 31rst. Winning that prestigious award will bring even more attention to this story. Besides this post on the anniversary, I will make one last post around the end of the month to ask for your vote. Winners will be announced at the Hear Now Festival in Kansas City on Friday June 8.
