I’ve been looking for my next book project and think I may have found it. I’ll know for sure in a few weeks. All I can say right now is that there is an aviation connection to the story, and, like my last book, it involves a wrongful conviction. This time, however, the person who I believe was wrongfully convicted is in prison.
I’ve also been busy getting my screenplays in front of potential producers. One way to get attention is by entering screenplay competitions. Placing in a screenplay competition provides some validation that the story you have is worthy of an audience. My screenplay for 35 Miles From Shore is a quarterfinalist in a competition for action and adventure scripts. The judges in this competition are connected to some high-profile action pictures like Midway, Free Guy, and No Time to Die. You can read more about the competition and the judges on the announcement page.
With retirement looming, I hope that my post-retirement years will be spent on creative endeavors.
