As many of you know, I have written a screenplay adaptation of my book Scapegoat. The title of the screenplay is Tailspin. I also like the tag: A Mystery at 39,000 Feet.
While I’ve been busy pitching the screenplay through various methods, I’ve also entered the screenplay into several screenplay competitions as a way to get noticed.
My most recent competition was the San Francisco Screenplay Competition. Tailspin was selected as a semi-finalist. This competition focused on screenplays that dealt with serious subjects.
I’ve also had some success with my screenplay adaptation of 35 Miles From Shore. I’ll keep plugging away. It’s all about attracting the right people at the right time.
