I’ve been busy lately working on my third book I Will Ruin You, which is about the wrongful conviction of Christian “Kit” Martin, a former pilot for PSA Airlines. I wasn’t thinking about Hoot, Scott, and Gary today, but I received an email that mentioned all three former TWA pilots. It turns out that today marks eight years since Hoot passed away.
The person who sent me the email provided a link to an article he wrote about TWA 841. The article retells the story of the botched investigation into TWA 841. The article borrows heavily from my book but also includes references to other sources.

The Air Crash Investigations episode Terror Over Michigan dragged the crew through the mud once again, with many viewers of the series siding with the version put forth by the producers of the show. Comments about the episode on Reddit have been almost unanimously negative toward the crew.
