Why it matters
I started the research phase of this project a year ago this November. Since that time I’ve had a chance to talk to a lot of people about what they think about the crew’s involvement. I have not talked to anyone who believes that the crew did what The NTSB and Boeing alleged. After nearly a year of research I have come to the same conclusion.
After every interview that I have done I always ask the person being interviewed if they have any final comments. This is their chance to say whatever is on their mind. More than a few people have taken the opportunity to voice their opinion about why it matters that the record be corrected. Some have summarized the reasons why I am writing this book in the first place. Passenger Roger Peterson did a great job in the post A Passenger’s Perspective.
Attorney Donald Chance Mark, who represented TWA in all of the civil trials, did a good job of summarizing why this story is important when I asked him for his final comment. The video below is his last comment in the interview I did with him.
This story matters. There is no statue of limitations on vindication.
